Pullman’s Simpson United Methodist Church sets September 14 American Red Cross blood drive

Pullman’s Simpson United Methodist Church has an open to the public American Red Cross blood drive set 1-6 p.m. Tuesday, September 14 in the church at 325 NE Maple St.

Blood donation is a simple four-step process: registration, medical history and mini-physical and refreshments.  According to Red Cross officials, the main reason donors give blood is because “they want to help others.” They know one donation can help save the lives of up to three people.  The blood used in an emergency is already available before there is a need.

Donors will be served cookies and juice. Providing child care, refreshments and assistance for Red Cross personnel will be church members.

To schedule an appointment to donate blood or for additional information, call the church office, 509-332-5212.
