February

4. Need a spa day? Learn how essential oils can be used for health and wellness on February 24th. Free!
5. Bowl away the blahs at Zeppoz. Or just spend a roll of quarters in the arcade!
6. Visit the Appaloosa Horse Museum in Moscow (next to Applebee’s) and learn how “The Palouse” got its’ name.
7. De-stress for a few minutes watching fish at Barnacle Bill’s. Bring home a special treat for your favorite pet.
8. Get a jump on your gardening. Grounds for Gardens at Starbuck’s offers free coffee grounds for your compost. All in a neat-to-carry package!
9. Take a step back in time at the McConnell Mansion in Moscow. Open Tues-Sat, 1-4pm by donation.
10. Rent some cross country skis from the WSU or UI Rec Centers and try out the trails at Kamiak.
